The Good News Club began several years ago as a way to meet the spiritual needs of the children of Fairmount ages k- 7th. It has since grown to to include kids from the surrounding areas. Originally formed as an outreach to the children within the Salt Fork public school system, the Good News Club now also welcomes local Home School children.
The Club, hosted by Faith Church, gathers every Wednesday afternoon in the church gym, right after school. The children are taught the Bible and encouraged to memorize Scripture. They also are fed a delicious meal, play games, and sing songs. The hours are 3:30 pm until 5:pm. Parents pick up their children when the program ends at 5:pm sharp.
Consent and release forms can be obtained by clicking this link. Parents must sign and consent to the program and its rules for the children to be allowed to participate. Only the GNC workers and teachers are permitted to remain in the building during the program.
“But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
