What to Expect

Welcome to Faith Church! We are a friendly group of people coming from a cross-section of backgrounds. Our common bond is a shared love for Jesus Christ, a commitment to the Word of God, and our desire to tell others of God’s love and grace.

Frequently asked questions:

What time is your service? Our worship service is at 10:30 am on Sunday mornings.

Do you have Sunday school? Yes. Our Sunday adult, young adult, and children morning classes begin at 9:15 A.M.

What do I wear? Attire is casual. You’ll fit right in with jeans, boots and tennis shoes. You’ll also fit right if you like to dress more formally. Most importantly come as you are!

What can I expect at your worship service? Faith Church is a friendly, casual church that holds to the authority of the Word of God which is our guide in faith and practice.

Worship on Sunday mornings is our opportunity to join together in giving praise to our great and awesome God. We are led in worship by our worship band and vocal team. The music is both contemporary and traditional. Our desire is to focus our hearts and minds on the Lord and worship God in Spirit and in truth.

Where do I go on Sunday morning when I arrive? Turning into the church parking lot from either Vance St. or High St. drive around to the north side and park where you like. There is also parking in front of the church but spaces are limited. The circle drive on the south side is for the loading and unloading of passengers. It’s a great place to drop off those who have trouble walking.

Where do I take my children? Children who are four years old and up will go to the worship service with you.

Kids through three years of age are cared for during the worship service by our loving and trained staff. The nursery is located just off the gym area adjacent to the church offices. One of our ushers would be glad to take you there.

What else does Faith Church offer me and my family? Faith Church has prayer every Wednesday at 7pm. All are welcome. We have various home groups which meet on different nights of the week. Faith Church also hosts community-wide family-fun-nights where the whole family can enjoy games, food, and fellowship. We also host faith-based movie nights, BBQ’s, and door-to-door outreach. We have a full-size gym which is used for a variety of things including community events, and our Good-News Club which meets every Wednesday during the school year from 3:30-5pm.
